National School Choice Week

National School Choice Week  -  January 25-31, 2015

On Wednesday, January 28, 2015, SGS will participate in National School Choice Week 2015 with a special event.
The event will take place at 12:00 PM at the school and will feature an in-house celebration of Starting Gate School. We hope you will join us!

National School Choice Week is a non-partisan, non-political effort that raises awareness about the importance of effective education options for students. More than 9,000 events are being planned across the country to celebrate National School Choice Week.

School choice means empowering parents with the freedom to choose the best educational environments for their children. Every child is unique. A one-size-fits-all approach to education doesn't work.

Our School in the News

Our Mission is to provide each student with the academic resources needed in today’s world.

Our school history celebrates students who have gone on to graduate from West Point, Berkeley, Stanford, The California Maritime Academy, and several East Coast Ivy League Schools including Harvard and M.I.T.

Today’s students need communication skills to survive.  A framework of learning skills, both intellectual and social are needed in today’s world as never before.  As our student body enrollment increases, so does our team spirit.  Each classroom is designed to fully engage students and provide them with greater enthusiasm for learning.

A well planned curriculum to the smallest detail makes for a memorable experience that students, teachers, and parents are proud to contribute to.  Our teachers and staff remain dedicated in addressing the needs of each student academically.

As partners with your student we know the importance of providing your child with the fundamentals of a strong and basic education.
